well my good friends, it looks like i will actually be going on this adventure that i’ve been planning for quite some time. after carefully considering all of the many factors, i will be heading out on the 27th of december and returning the 18th of may! this allows me to spend christmas with the famjam, get a decently priced ticket there and back and spend about 5 months on the continent of Africa.

i cannot believe this is finally going to happen.

all i need to do now is defend my thesis, make the revisions and pack.
